Mozart and Schikaneders ledgendary fairy-tale opera comes to stage@leeds. Follow Prince Tamino and his lovable bird-catcher friend Papageno on their quest to save the princess Pamina from the clutches of an evil sorcerer. The pair soon learn that things in this world are not quite what they appear to be... This humorous and dramatic new adaptation by Martin Pickard, Freddie Brook and Clara Nonnenkamp reimagines the story in a post-apocalyptic future. The performance is also peppered with elements of pantomime to keep you laughing throughout the entire production!
