Ángeles Toledano has become one of the most promising emerging singers on the scene. She possesses a unique sensitivity and style, capable of fusing genres without losing any of their soul. Moreover, she inspires us with a rich, poetic and radical message.

María de los Ángeles Martínez Toledano, known by the artistic name of Ángeles Toledano, was born in Villanueva de la Reina, a town on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, in the Andalusian province of Jaén on 10th June 1995. Her interest in music began when she was very young, and at the age of 7  her grandfather began to teach her her first cantes. Years later, she continued to gain knowledge both in the flamenco club in the town of El Olivo del Cante and taking part in the weekly flamenco gatherings organized by the Carmen Linares women's flamenco peña and the Los Romeros de Ándujar flamenco peña, breathing in the scent of flamenco from Jaén, recording in her mind memories that are always present in the features of her cante (singing). Following a long process of learning and development, she has taken part in tours of the United States and Mexico with the New Generation of Young Flamencos show, in cities such as San Francisco, Houston, San Diego and Tijuana, performing at the Mountain View Center in Santa Clara (California) and The North Chapel of San Diego (California).

At just 20 years old, she joined the company of the illustrious Cordovan guitarist Paco Peña, with whom she has toured the Netherlands performing at the Delamar Theater in Amsterdam, the Nieuwe Luxor Theater in Rotterdam and the Philharmonie in Harleem with the shows Patrias and Requiem for the Homeland. In recent years some of her most representative performances have been at the National Music Auditorium in Madrid, accompanying the famous singer Arcángel, the White Night of Córdoba together with Remedios Amaya, the MISA (Music in the Summer Air) festival in the show Claroscuro by Ángel Muñoz in the city of Shanghai (China).
