On The Edge of Nothing

by David Ley

Names are the first thing to die. Then the soul, then the body.

Ten years into the war and all is far too quiet. There seems to be no end in sight,
and even shooting the local wildlife eventually gets boring. Cut off from their allies
and the enemy with nothing but their own personal demons for company, a group
of soldiers struggle to survive against isolation, loss of identity and each other. In
this surreal comedy they must decide what matters most to them: dedication to
duty or personal happiness.
