The Normal Heart – Found in 41 Theatre

We must love one another or die.

It’s New York, July 1981. A strange disease is killing gay men and it’s on a rampage. Writer Ned Weeks and his friends come together to stop others from dying. The media is either condemning or ignoring them and the health department and the mayor are giving Ned the cold shoulder.
Larry Kramer’s largely autobiographical drama about the early days of the AIDS crisis is full of anger and compassion and spreads out a past in front of us that should not be forgotten.
