A new one-person performance by Steve Scott-Bottoms, which attempts to kick-start a conversation about how we are adapting to climate change. Drawing on interview research with sustainability officers, flood risk managers, and others, this participatory theatre piece asks why more hasn't already been done to prepare us for extreme weather, and whose job it is to sort this out. Using a few chairs, a few buckets, and a whole lot of sand, Steve invites the audience to help shape a less frightening future than the one we might otherwise be looking at.

This performance is one of the outcomes from Steve's current UKRI-supported research project, embedded with the Flood Risk Management team of Leeds City Council, and with the Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission's Adaptation and Resilience Panel.
