There is always a ‘but’ in this imperfect world. (Anne Bronte)

A contemporary exploration of Anne Bronte, widely perceived as the most forgotten of the three Bronte sisters. Discover the life of a truly complex woman: steeped in both fantasy and tragedy. Her writing often descended into unusually dark depths, particularly as she approached her premature death.

Through an unexplored world of utopian fantasy, The Glass Bell creates an impactful portrait of a woman whose story deserves to be told.

A performance created and performed by final year students studying Theatre and Performance at the School of Performance and Cultural Industries.
