Rebekka Sofie Bohse Meyer is the Concept & Artistic Director of the virtual reality opera MORTALITIES.  MORTALITIES premiered in August 2023 at Sort/Hvid theatre at Copenhagen Opera Festival. Rebekka spent time at Leeds as a visiting undergraduate on a year abroad and has a BA in Musicology and a MA in Modern Culture & Communication from University of Copenhagen, DK and a MA in Performance Design from School of Performance and Cultural Industries, University of Leeds.

Rebekka is the Artistic Director of Jakobe Performing Art - an artistic company creating interdisciplinary performances with new technology and sound. She is also the Curator and Founder of performative exhibition platform BUNKER in collaboration with Lise Seier Petersen. Rebekka has also founded and made work with the artist collective Joker’s Dinner.
