The final date of the Sadler Seminar Seris is full day event packed with presentations on legal and political dimensions of the commons, creative responses to the concept and human involvement developing alternative economies and systems of government. Participants presenting are both from different levels of study and multiple disciplines.

The seminars convened interdisciplinary perspectives that have emerged from Elinor Ostrom’s (1990) Governing the Commons. While the original work speaks to the ownership and governance of natural resources, the debates extend to the questions of accessibility of knowledge, culture, space and digital resources.
