The Importance of Being Earnest is Wilde’s comedic play about two bachelors, Jack and Algernon, who invent alter-egos named “Earnest” woo two women (Gwendolyn and Cecily) who are infatuated with that name. There are hilarious mix-ups, deceptions, confrontations with the formidable Lady Bracknell and a lot witty conversations.
Length of performance: Approx 2.5 hours including 25 minute interval
