The Waves

Virginia Woolf’s entrancing modernist classic follows six friends from childhood into later life, exploring identity and friendship alongside the miracles and tragedies of loving. Adapted for the stage by Flora Wilson Brown, this new production sets out to explore the self as a shifting mosaic of memories, encounters and shared experiences. Through the interweaving lives of these vibrant, complicated individuals, we highlight that we only become whole when we share our lives with others.
