Joining The Youth Theatre

The stage@leeds young company is open to young people aged 07- 17yrs. No acting or performance experience is required and you can attend a taster session at no cost. The stage@leeds Young Company meet every Saturday in term time from 10.30-12.30 at stage@leeds, the University of Leeds public theatre venue on campus. Young Company members benefit from working in a fully operational professional theatre with industry professionals. All of our Youth Theatre staff have been DBS checked.

Try before you buy:
If you would like to try out a session to see if you like it then no problem. email us and we'll arrange an appropriate date for you to come and join in with the group. If you like the experience then you can join the young Company and f for any reason the experience isn't for you then you have noting to pay. If you would like to enquire about joining the stage@leeds young company please email stage.leeds.ac.uk and we will arrange a try out session for you.

 

Autumn 2026 Fees and Workshop Times

Workshops will take place between 10.30am and 12.30pm On Saturday mornings from Sa 19th Sept. Each term is a minimum of ten sessions and payment is termly or annually.
