When medical student Jo arrives in the operating theatre, she is not prepared for the extremely unusual day of work placement that awaits her. The theatre staff are an array of eccentric personalities, and what begins as a systematic, controlled operation quickly descends into a chaotic comedy of errors that shakes her faith in doctors and nurses.
As open surgery commences, secret romances and bitter personal rivalries are exposed, revealing the absurdities and hypocrisies within the medical profession.
