Taking My Love With Him is a Level One BA(Hons) Theatre and Performance production, adapted from Malachi Whitaker’s collection of Bradford tales set in the 1930s. Malachi Whitaker has been described as "the Bradford Chekhov" and this anthology of her short stories is filled with love, passion, music, scandal, and tragedy. Follow the compelling narrative of numerous characters as they experience the trials and tribulations of early 20th century life in Bradford. Taking My Love With Him theatricalises Malachi Whitaker’s extremely rich and innovative short stories and presents them in an intimate setting in-the-round.
