National Theatre Connections 2023/24
NT Connections is the National Theatre’s annual, nationwide youth theatre festival. The programme is 29 years old and has a history of championing the talent of young people from across the UK. Every year, Connections commissions new plays for young people to perform. The programme brings together some of the UK’s most exciting writers with the theatre-makers of tomorrow. Connections is open to any stage@leedsyoungcompany member between the ages of 13-19yrs (you nee to be 13yrs old by April 2024. Our production will be performed on Friday 22nd and Sat 23rd March at stage@leeds and we will then take the show to York Theatre Royal in June 2024 (date to be confirmed). Connections is a fantastic festival and our partner theatre York Theatre Royal is a fantastic venue in which to perform. Connections will rehearse after the normal workshop sessions on Saturdays.
If you are cast in NT Connections you will need to have purchased a membership to stage@leedsyoungcompany either on its own or as part of paying for youth theatre workshops.
